Types

Built-In: Coffee machines can be custom built into a cabinet. In addition, some models allow for direct plumbing to the coffee machine, eliminating the need to refill the water reservoir.

Counter Top: Other coffee machine units can be placed on a countertop, allowing anyone to add a coffee machine to the kitchen or bar area without having to modify or build new cabinets.

Style

Whole Bean: This style brews coffee from whole beans that are ground in the appropriate amount to produce a perfect cup of coffee.

Capsule: This style allows you to load up to five different flavors of coffee capsules, so that you can decide from a variety of choices without changing the beans in the coffee machine.

Special Features

    • Automatic Rinse: The machine will automatically rinse after it has not been used for a period of time.

If reverse osmosis or distilled water is unavailable, some machines offer a plug in filter to help improve the water for a better tasting coffee.

    • Cup Heater: This feature will pre-warm your favorite coffee mug in order to keep your coffee hot for a longer period of time.

    • Bypass Feature: This feature allows you to make a cup of decaffeinated coffee, even while the bin is filled with regular beans. You will just need to place pre-ground coffee in the bypass door, making it very easy to enjoy a decaffeinated coffee.

    • Temperature Settings: This feature will allow you to control the temperature of your coffee as it comes out of the machine, from piping hot to a ready to drink temperature.

    • Cup Size: This feature will allow you to select the amount of coffee you wish to dispense each time you press the button. In addition, some units will allow you to fill two cups of coffee at one time.

    • Custom Choices: Most coffee machines can be custom tailored, allowing you to choose the amount, temperature, taste, and strength of the coffee.
