Dehumidifiers are rated by how many pints of water they can remove from the air in 24 hours. For instance, a 50 pint model will remove 50 pints of water from the air in 24 hours. The size model that you will need in your home will be determined by the space and humidity of the area in which you are placing the dehumidifier.     • Low Temp: This feature will allow units to operate properly at temperatures as low as 38°F.

    • Electronic Controls: Electronic controls allow for a digital readout for more precise humidity settings.

    • Side Discharge: The feature allows you to place the dehumidifier directly against the wall, minimizing the space it occupies in the room.

    • Direct Drain Hose Connection: This feature connects the dehumidifier to a drain eliminating the need to empty the bucket periodically.
