Capacity and Size – Dehumidifiers are rated by how many pints of water they can remove from the air in 24 hours. For instance, a 50 pint model will remove 50 pints of water from the air in 24 hours. The size model that you will need in your home will be determined by the space and humidity of the area in which you are placing the dehumidifier. Any Martin Appliance professional will be happy to assist you in determining the appropriate size dehumidifier for the space you need to dehumidify.

  • Low Temp: This feature will allow units to operate properly at temperatures as low as 38°F.
  • Electronic Controls: Electronic controls allow for a digital readout for more precise humidity settings.
  • Side Discharge: The feature allows you to place the dehumidifier directly against the wall, minimizing the space it occupies in the room.
  • Direct Drain Hose Connection: This feature connects the dehumidifier to a drain eliminating the need to empty the bucket periodically.
  • Air Filters: A filter will allow the unit to remove airborne particles from the moisture in the air. Most filters are washable.
  • Tank Capacity: The size of the tank varies from model to model. The larger the bucket, the less often you will need to empty the dehumidifier.
