About Us

Martin Appliance 1973 was the beginning of a legacy. Dennis Martin, in a 200 sq. ft. garage, started Martin Appliance in Myerstown, PA. Even before Martin Appliance was officially founded, Dennis had this dream of serving and satisfying customers that came his way. His care to detail and friendly service won him a reputation among those who did business with him. By 1979, he opened his first official store along route 422 in Myerstown.

As time went on, Dennis accrued employees underneath him who were selected because of their character and skill. With the growing capacity to help others, he found ways to expand Martin Appliance’s territory from just Myerstown to Cleona, Reading, Quarryville, Ephrata, and Brownstown.

Having over 350 employees, Martin Appliance is even more equipped to serve the community. Our size has not changed who we are. Dennis Martin and his family still govern Martin Appliance by the same mission they always have. To glorify Christ through positively impacting the lives of those they serve each day, while being faithful stewards of all things entrusted to them. Guided by this mission, Dennis’ employees do the same whether they install appliances, answer calls, or service broken appliances. Martin Appliance is centered around customer service.
