Fujitsu General offers the world's most efficient mini-split systems – more than twice as efficient as the minimum standard set by the government. Each system allows as many as eight indoor zones to have individual thermostats, so you can choose which areas to heat or cool while bypassing unoccupied rooms. Fujitsu General mini-splits require no ductwork, so you avoid the energy losses typically associated with central forced-air systems.

In addition, they don’t require an expensive, extensive installation process. You can manage your system remotely using a smart phone, tablet or PC via the Internet to ensure optimal efficiency without sacrificing comfort. To help encourage the installation of energy efficient products, many local utility companies offer significant rebates for the purchase of a ductless mini-split system.

Nine reasons why Fujitsu General leads the way

Learn about the many benefits of a Fujitsu General mini-split heating and cooling system. With over 40 years of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) experience and a 99.99% product performance rate, you can rest easy knowing that Fujitsu General ductless systems will keep you and your family comfortable year-round.

Energy Efficiency

The Smart Choice in Comfort

As much as half of the energy used in your home goes to heating and cooling. Considering this, making smart decisions about your home's heating and air conditioning system can have a substantial impact on your utility bills — and your comfort.

The high energy efficiencies of Halcyon™ systems slash utility bills by up to 24%. For example, if your average annual utilities are $4,200, Fujitsu General can save you approximately $1,000 annually!*

Individual Control

Multi-Room Zoning: Customize Your Comfort

A comfortable house helps everyone feel at home. Fujitsu General's multi-room systems allow you to turn each room into a temperature-controlled zone to meet the needs of both family members and friends. The systems enable you to connect 2 to 8 indoor units to a single outdoor unit. This allows you to set each indoor unit at a different temperature - meaning you can set up to 8 different temperatures as needed. OR of course, you also can have some indoor units on and others off - so you're only paying to heat and cool the rooms you're occupying.

You'll reduce family bickering as well as your energy bills. Fujitsu General Halcyon™ Ductless Mini-split Systems can put an end to the ongoing "Family Thermostat Wars," with everyone fighting for their personal climate preference. Finally, you really can please everyone. Mix and match indoor units to pick the perfect size and style (wall mount, floor mount, slim duct, ceiling cassette) for your home.

Year-Round Comfort

Fujitsu General's heat pumps provide both heating and cooling for year round comfort in most climates. A simple push of a button on the remote control allows you to switch from heating to cooling (or vice versa) automatically.

Then there’s Fujitsu General reliability.

Fujitsu General Halcyon™ systems are remarkably reliable: more than 99.99% have never had to be replaced or removed from where they've been installed during the life expectancy of the unit. This exceptionally high rate of reliability stems from Fujitsu General's unrivaled quality control processes, which include a team of engineers and inspectors committed to a simple truth: our products become part of your home and, as such, should be crafted with care and built to last.

Our commitment to quality combines 40 years of HVAC experience with state-of-the-art testing technology. At the Fujitsu General Research & Development Center, a lengthy line of testing equipment pits our heating + cooling systems against a wide range of operating conditions.  This rigorous testing leads to heating + cooling systems that function both reliably and effectively even in extreme temperatures or other inclement conditions.

Beyond the mini-split units themselves, Fujitsu General's quality assurance extends to the various features that complement our heating + cooling systems – ones that help ensure the maximum comfort and unsurpassed efficiency for which Fujitsu has become known.  From wireless remote controls and sleep timers to deodorizing filters and four-way auto louvers for air flow direction, we are committed to our specialized functions and supporting devices working as reliably as our heating + cooling systems themselves.

Easy Installation

Fujitsu General systems eliminate the need for a basement or attic-located evaporator unit and bulky ductwork by using thin copper tubing that pumps refrigerant directly to discreet wall mounted or concealed units inside. Even more remarkable, this same unit works in reverse in winter, absorbing heat from the outside air and moving it indoors to heat your home. The result? Efficient cooling and heating for year round, whole-house comfort in most climates.

Available in numerous mix-and-match capacities and configurations, there's a Halcyon mini-split system for even the most difficult to heat and cool areas.

Copper tubing running through a small 3 to 4-inch opening in the wall or ceiling easily connects the indoor and outdoor units. Refrigerant is cycled through the lines from the outdoor condensing unit to the indoor unit, where the air is quietly distributed to the interior space.

Décor Options - Indoor Unit Style

Mount high on a wall, out of sight and do not require ductwork, increasing energy efficiency. These systems come in a variety of BTU/h sizes ranging from 7,000 (in a multi-zone configuration) up to 36,000 BTU/h and can be used as single zone or multi-zone systems.

  • Quiet operation

  • Compact size fits easily under a standard window
  • Features twin airflow for improved heat delivery

Quiet Operation

Peaceful Performance From "Ahhh" to "Zzzz"

Fujitsu General believes heating and cooling systems should be felt - not heard. Halcyon™ systems are so quiet you won't even know they're on. Finally, you can sleep well at night in a comfortable, peaceful environment.

Ductless heat pumps allow for a peaceful inside atmosphere with noise levels as low as a human whisper. Also, many indoor unit styles feature Quiet Mode, an extra-quiet fan speed to ensure you are not disturbed.

How Does Fujitsu General Achieve Your Quiet Comfort?

  • Ductless heat pumps and air conditioners are comprised of an indoor and outdoor unit. Components like compressors and motors are installed outside – out of earshot.
  • Outdoor units operate at the sound level of a common office environment, restaurant conversation or background music.
  • Ductless systems deliver cooled and heated air directly to the rooms they serve, without the need for noisy, powerful fans.
  • With just three major components – the indoor unit, the outdoor unit and the controller – the system is installed quickly and easily, and the end result is free of the noisy components that make up traditional cooling and heating solutions.
